: Sanction of the Scheme of Arrangement and Amalgamation.
The Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka
has sanctioned the Scheme of Arrangement and Amalgamation
between the Company, Jindal Iron & Steel Co Ltd and Jindal
South West Holdings Ltd. The Order sanctioning the Scheme was
pronounced in the Court on 20.01.2005.
The
written order sanctioning the Scheme is expected to be
received shortly. Once the order of Karnataka High Court is
filed with Registrar of Companies, Karnataka, the scheme will
become effective.
